Mario Kart World has a few new items, but the weirdest is the Kamek item. Initially, it isn’t quite clear what the item does, but after you see it a few times, it seems pretty pointless.
READ MORE: ‘Mario Kart World’ is a supercharged reinvention of the ultimate party gameThe Kamek item simply turns everyone into a random NPC/enemy character. Upon turning into the enemy, you will unlock that character and can use them in races.
To get the Kamek item, all you need to do is get lucky and get it from the item box. You can then use it to turn everyone into a random NPC enemy.
The NPC/enemy you get seems to be completely random, so you just need to get lucky to unlock all the characters and NPC characters in the game.
Alongside the Kamek item, you can also get the feather for the first time in a race for more than 20 years. Additionally, some new items include the frozen flower to freeze enemies, a hammer that allows you to pummel the track with hammers, and a coin shell that leaves a path of coins behind it.

In the review, we say: “The Switch was a brilliant hybrid that succeeded as both a handheld and a home system. It made gaming more accessible, but it didn’t always have the power to compete with Xbox and PlayStation. The bigger, more impressive Switch 2 changes that. A number of upgrades mean games look better and run smoother, and the addition of GameChat and GameShare features make it easier to get involved with friends.”
