The duo met when their respective college teams, the Georgia Bulldogs and the Auburn Tigers, clashed in the season’s final game.

After the first meeting, the pair quickly connected, and their relationship blossomed with a great support system for each other ever since. Speaking of the first meeting, Paige told Colorbox Photography, “We antagonized each other that entire first night — and the night after. Is it weird that I liked the banter back and forth? Honestly, I think that’s what sparked the connection — that and some encouragement from great friends.” In fact, the duo became so close that their relationship turned into family gatherings for Christmas, and then they finally got engaged in 2020.
