Horror Authors You Should Read

Here are my favorite horror authors that I usually read. If you are looking to for some good horror to read, check out these authors……

Joe Hill = I got into this author when I started reading his Locke & Key comic book series. Ever since then I’ve been hooked. This author is actually the son of Stephen King but he writes under this pen name. This is probably my favorite horror author.

Darcy Coates = Originally, I could only find literature from this author in e-book form when I first discovered her. So, I have a bunch of her books in e-book form on my Kindle Fire. Now I can find her books in paperback form at my local book store. She is also a favorite author…..she’s up there with Joe Hill.

Stephen King = I actually didn’t start reading his stuff until after I started reading things from his son. I’m actually in the process of reading his Gunslinger series but I’ve read some of his other stuff. His stuff has had numerous movies based on them including “IT”. I still have to watch the “IT” movies…….I have them on dvd, I just have to find the time to sit down and watch them.

Shirley Jackson = I started reading “The Haunting of Hill House” and “We Have Always Lived in the Castle”. I even watched a tv show based on the first book. Both books were good but I really loved the first book. I love books about haunted houses.

Cassandra Khaw = The first thing I read from this author was “Nothing But Blackened Teeth” and I absolutely loved that book. That got me hooked on this author.
