However, after a long winter of neglect, your garden patio may be in need of a touch of TLC.
And although you might think that purchasing a pressure washer to blast your slabs clean will be pricey, Home Bargains has a product on offer for less than a tenner.
The Jardin Pressure Sprayer costs just £7.99, for a 5 litre model.
It has an adjustable spray pattern, lockable trigger action and measurements on the body, so you can easily see how much water you have used.
Simply turn the nozzle and spray your patio with powerful jets, until it looks as good as new.
A description reads: “It’s time to put on the pressure this summer!
“This general purpose pressure sprayer is ideal for cleaning in and around the garden.
“Produce jet or shower sprays, with just a turn of the nozzle, and marvel at your clean, fresh garden!
“…As far as the neighbours will be concerned, the grass really is greener on the other side!”
The Home Bargains product is a whopping £192 cheaper, than a similar model, sold at Wickes.
The Karcher K5 Classic Pressure Washer is priced at £200 on the DIY stores website, down from it’s original price of £280.
It features a dirt blaster lance, which allows you to clean “up to 50% faster than some other brands”, and can be connected to a water butt, to utilise rain water for cleaning.
A description reads: “The Karcher K5 Classic Pressure Washer delivers 145 bar of pressure and 500L/H water flow to make light work of the toughest cleaning jobs, from shifting mud from delicate car paintwork to removing stubborn patio grime.”

If pressure washing isn’t your thing, but you still want to make your patio squeaky clean, a gardening expert has shared a £1 hack to try out.
How to repair broken patio slabs
THE paving specialists at Simply Paving told Fabulous how you can repair broken patio slabs, without the faff.
The experts advised: “If you have a loose paving slab, then it’s unlikely it can be lifted straight by hand. Instead, you will probably need a hammer and chisel to prise the paver free of your patio.
“To remove loose paving slabs without damaging your flagstones, carefully chip away at the mortar around the paving slab with the plugging chisel and rubber mallet until the slab comes completely loose.
“Then, slide the spade into the gap left by the mortar and prise the paver free of the patio.
“As you lift it up, place a short piece of timber underneath the spade to act as a lever, making it easier for you while protecting the slab underneath.
“When the paver starts to give, place the cylindrical wood underneath it and roll the slab out of the patio.”
Martin Stewart, National Trainer at Ryobi advised applying white vinegar to your patio slabs, and leaving it to soak.
Then scrub it with a “stiff brush” and rinse it off with water.
This is a natural, eco-friendly method and is also cost effective, as white vinegar can be purchased for just £1 from the supermarket.
However, be careful not to use this product on limestone slabs, as it can cause damage.
Alternatively, you can try bleach, diluted with water.
Bleach is stronger than white vinegar, but is also has toxic fumes, which can be bad for the environment, and your health.
