Hololive Vtuber Kiara Takanashi on Hiatus for a Month

Hololive Vtuber Kiara Takanshi announced that she will be on hiatus from streaming for a month. She will still appear on social media, however. In the statement, she also confirmed she will be part of planned streams on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026, even with the break. She confirmed that this is simply a break and stated that her “low battery mode wawa” is now active. This means we could expect to see her back around November 15, 2026.

Here is the full statement from Kiara. She didn’t mention what those streams at the end of the month will entail. Given the time of year, it is possible she will be part of Halloween collabs.

Kiara Takanashi’s last stream ahead of this involved her playing Arknights: Endfield. At the beginning of the stream, she went over the physical release of her collab single “Trauma” with Irise, and she also mentioned her brief break.

There’s a lot on the Hololive Vtuber’s plate once she does get back. She’s one of the confirmed Cover talents heading to DreamHack Stockholm between November 27-29, 2026. Airani Iofifteen, Kureiji Ollie, Moona Hoshinova, Pavolia Reine, Kaela Kovalskia, and Raora Panthera will be there on November 27, 2026. Kiara Takanashi will be there on the second day alongside Kobo Kanaeru, Shiori Novella, and Vestia Zeta. On November 29, 2026, the Holostars Vtubers Jurard T. Rexford and Octavio will appear.

Kiara Takanashi is now on a one-month hiatus, and the Hololive Vtuber will return to streaming from her break in mid-November 2026.
