Hollywood has a Paris problem. From Before Sunset to The Summer I Turned Pretty, it's no secret that the industry is drawn to the French capital — so much so that, in 2012, the "Paris Seen by Hollywood" exhibition was held to showcase all things film and France. Dubbed the "City of Love," the history and lore surrounding Paris make it all the more alluring compared to the glitz and glam of Los Angeles or the bustling, hectic streets of New York. However, Paris isn't quite the fantasy it's often made out to be. At the end of the day, it's a major city that, despite its postcard-like facade, hides real problems that are frequently overlooked in TV and film.
