Frankie Osborne (Isabelle Smith) faces danger once more in upcoming Hollyoaks scenes as she unknowingly arranges a date with the eponymous village’s new baddie.

The popular character matched with newcomer Sully (Harry French) on a dating app after enjoying a much-needed getaway with her fellow teens in Liverpool.

Sully, as fans know, is an associate of Griff, who raped Dodger Savage (Danny Mac) last month, and he also happens to be the son of local gangster Froggy Black (John Middleton).

To complicate the situation even further, Sully is also a police officer, which came as a huge shock to Dodger, who made the discovery seconds after reporting his ordeal to the police.

Frankie, unaware of all the above, lies about her age and is happy when she matches with Sully online.

Later in the week, Sully bumps into Frankie after work and he gives her his number, hoping they can talk further and arrange a proper date.

When a date is officially set in motion, Frankie confides in Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass) about it.

Knowing what Frankie has been through in the past couple of years and, sensing a shred of doubt about her date, Dillon offers to be her wingman if things become uncomfortable.

The question is: just how exactly will the date pan out? And will Frankie come to realise just who Sully actually is?

Frankie was recently left devastated when Jacob Omari (Ethaniel Davy) broke things off with her, following a short romance.

It came just weeks after she and Dillon had escaped captivity, with the pair having been groomed and exploited by Grace Black (Tamara Wall) and Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey).

Their freedom came after Dillon shot operation leader DI Banks (Drew Cain).

Frankie is certainly due some happiness in the aftermath of all she’s been through but there’s likely more upset ahead for her, with Sully appearing to be dangerous.

And that’s not the only thing on her mind during the week in question as Dillon confides in her about his how he no longer loves Lucas Hay (Oscar Curtis) – before revealing that he’s got feelings for Ste (Kieron Richardson)!

Elsewhere in the village…

After Leela Dexter (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) says she can’t imagine him and Dillon not being together, Lucas arranges a surprise for his beau in The Hutch as he pops the question!

What will Dillon say? Stars Oscar Curtis and Nathaniel Dass react to the big scenes – and the Ste and Dillon story in general – in our exclusive chat.

Up Next

Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin) returns home from hospital, with Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) moving in to the McQueen residence to support her. Cleo is struggling and she feels like a failure as she’s unable to produce milk for baby Joseph.

Later in the week, she confides in Sienna about how much she’s struggling.

Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson), meanwhile, is arrested for shooting Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) but, with not enough evidence to hold him, he’s released without charge and returns to the village.

Jack (Jimmy McKenna) is worried when his son arrives in The Dog but Darren refuses to leave, adamant that he’s done nothing wrong.

This leaves Ant Hutchinson (Brook Debio) upset and Dee-Dee (Chloe Atkinson) attempts to calm him down as Froggy intervenes.

Darren later catches Ant smashing up his taxi and calls the police – but Froggy reckons he shouldn’t grass him up given everything the boy has going on in his life right now.

Diane (Alex Fletcher) confiscates Ant’s phone, fed up of him being glued to the device but, as she refuses to give it back, her son’s anger begins to emerge.

And later, Ro (Leo Cole) shows Diane a picture Ant posted online the day Tony was shot – of him holding a gun!

Elsewhere, Leela and Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) support each other over their recent losses.

Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) also offers Mercedes support. Mercy is grateful to have him around during her and thus arranges for him to come and spend time with the Marias – just as Gemma (Tisha Merry) watches on.

Later, Gemma acts friendly towards Mercedes. But just what is she up to?
