High Potential might be on hiatus while Season 3 is in production, but the ABCcrime thriller continues to prove why audiences keep coming back. Across its first two seasons, the series follows an easy-to-digest, NCIS-style episodic format: genius-turned-consultant Morgan Gillory (Kaitlin Olson) and high-strung Detective Adam Karadec (Daniel Sunjata) are handed a case, and their job is to solve it. It’s a tried-and-true formula that makes High Potential an easy watch, but being easy to watch and being binge-worthy are two different things.
