Bollywood star Paresh Rawal, who portrays the iconic character Baburao Ganpatrao Apte in the Hera Pheri franchise left everyone shocked when he confirmed on Sunday that he is no longer part of the upcoming sequel - Hera Pheri 3. As per earlier reports, he had quit the film due to his creative differences with the filmmaker.

Now, the actor himself has taken to his social media to refute those claims. The actor took to his X account and wrote, "I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENT WITH THE FILM MAKER . I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan the film director."

Paresh Rawal's dialogue in Hera Pheri as Baburao has been everyone's favorite. The Hera Pheri franchise staretd with the 2000 film Hera Pheri whichwas directed by Priyadarshan. Phir Hera Pheri, released in 2006, was directed by Neeraj Vora. The third installment is reportedly being helmed by Priyadarshan once again.

The news of Paresh Rawal's exit from the third instalment was first revealed by Suniel Shetty in an interview. He said that Rawal had opted out of the sequel over creative differences with the team. The original trio of Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal were all set to reunite for the film. Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham were supposed to be part of the film, later Kartik Aaryan's name also came into the news. He also said that, "When it comes to Hera Pheri, if it wasn't Babu Bhai (Paresh Rawal) and Raju (Akshay Kumar), Shyam (Suniel Shetty) wouldn't exist and he has no meaning. You take any one of them out, and the film doesn't work."

Netizens also reacted to the news and were shocked by his statement. On the work front, Suniel will be seen next in Welcome To The Jungle which will also star Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal with others. Paresh Rawal has Bhooth Bangla in the pipeline, alongside Tabu and Akshay Kumar which is helmed by Priyadarshan.
