Heartwarming images of President Donald Trump walking to Marine Force One with Elon Musk’s son are gaining traction online, with users expressing their delight over the cheerful scene.
The photo, shared on X by the White House, features Trump giving his trademark thumbs up while Musk’s son, X Æ A-12, also referred to as “Lil X,” beams at the cameras as they make their way to the iconic helicopter on Friday.
The photo has attracted over 4 million views as of Saturday morning.

Videos and additional images of Trump, aged 78, and Lil X, aged 4, capture the duo exiting a White House door, with the tech mogul’s son sporting a black coat adorned with a USA pin and clutching what seems to be a bag of candy.
Full of energy, Lil X leads Trump as they stroll down a small ramp on the White House South Lawn towards Marine Force One.

Trump, also clad in a black coat, then gestures toward the cameras, catching Lil X’s gaze. The moment he sees the lenses, he joyfully jumps with his hands raised.
“That’s a delightful picture,” Musk commented on X about a similar image of the pair during that moment.
The jumping photo reminiscent of a viral image of Musk leaping at a Trump campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last October.
At one point on Friday, Trump pauses to make an X sign with his hand and then points to Lil X.
In other pictures, President Trump is shown carefully lifting Lil X onto the steps of Marine One.

They are then followed by Musk and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick. Marine Force One subsequently departed for Joint Base Andrews.
“It’s wonderful to see [Lil] X feels so at ease with President Trump,” another user remarked. “Day by day, we witness Elon and the President together. Some might say it’s fake, but X interacts playfully with President Trump. Children are incapable of faking feelings or relationships. It’s all about love.”
Another person added: “This is what occurs when you have a leader who adores his family and his country! Join us, folks!”

Lil X has been a frequent presence at the White House since Trump’s return. Musk has been appointed by Trump to oversee the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which aims to eliminate waste, fraud, and corruption within the federal government.
Last month, he stood alongside Musk and Trump in the Oval Office as Musk addressed the media regarding DOGE’s objectives and achievements.
Lil X was spotted playfully mimicking his dad, making silly faces, and even picking his nose before Musk lifted him onto his shoulders.
