Julie Carp (Katy Cavanagh) left Coronation Street fans devastated when she revealed that she had terminal cancer.
The iconic character returned to the street earlier this year, but soon broke hearts as she explained that she was back in Manchester for treatment after being diagnosed with a stage four sarcoma.
She also tragically revealed that she only had a few months left to live.
After confiding in her family, she made it clear that she wanted to live the rest of her life to the full.
However, that has become increasingly more difficult, as she has found herself wracked with pain.
She has tried her best to get out of the house to see her friends, and even managed to rekindle her former romance with Brian Packham (Peter Gunn).

In upcoming scenes, when Brian calls round with a wheelchair for Julie, she puts on a brave face as she gets Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) to wheel her to the Rovers.
It’s clear she’s still in pain, but Julie is determined to have a good time.
However, when she gets chatting to George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley), she accidentally lets slip that Eileen is bored of their relationship and he needs to make more of an effort.
This worrying revelation comes after George fails to show up for Eileen when she is rushed to A&E after a fall, instead sending Brian in his place.
Will he be able to win Eileen back round before it’s too late?
And how will Eileen react to Julie’s interference?
