HBO’s 6-Part Sci-Fi Series Was Cancelled Too Soon, Then Erased From Streaming

Every once in a while, a book will be such a hit with readers, that one onscreen adaptation might not be enough. That's exactly the case for Audrey Niffenegger’s best-selling 2003 novel The Time Traveler's Wife, which, after being adapted to the big screen in 2009 with leads Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams, was once again retold in 2022 in a TV series format. Starring Theo James and Rose Leslie, the HBO series, which premiered on May 15, 2022, gave the story a fresh new perspective, and certainly introduced the sci-fi romance to a whole new batch of viewers.
