George R.R. Martin has given so much to the world through his fantasy writing, which has already produced three big-budget HBO shows, with more likely on the way. The first product to hit the small screen all the way back in 2011 was Game of Thrones, the eight-season historical fantasy epic based on Martin’s series of novels, A Song of Ice and Fire, which are still unfinished to this day — we’re waiting, George. The second Game of Thrones show to hit the air, House of the Dragon, was a prequel to the first series, and it’s based on Martin’s A Song of Fire and Blood novels, which cover the fall of House Targaryen. The most recent Thrones-adjacent series to air on HBO was A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, which just wrapped up a beloved first season a few weeks ago.
