Has Beauty in Black Season 3 Been Canceled or Renewed?

Has Netflix canceled Beauty in Black or renewed it for Season 3?

Last year in December, Netflix announced that Beauty in Black will be renewed for Season 3, which will serve as the last and final chapter of the series.

Beauty in Black Season 2 was divided into two parts, releasing on September 11, 2025, and March 19, 2026. The latest season follows the ruthless family behind the haircare brand and a secret trafficking ring that will be shown facing some serious consequences for their actions. Kimmie, a former sex worker, settles into her new life of fortune, power, and privilege. She will play a significant role in the story, bringing justice and going after her sister, who was abducted.

Earlier, in an interview with Netflix, Taylor Polidore Williams, who plays Kimmie, reflected on her character’s evolution throughout the seasons and how it has been a key highlight of her career, too.

She said, “Kimmie’s transformation has honestly been one of the highlights of my career so far. Getting to dive into a character’s evolution is one of my favorite things ever about acting. I think her confidence really stems from Horace. He believed in her from the start, and he’s been coaching her on how to not only survive this family but [also how] to take up her rightful space with them.”

She teased that it will now be exciting to see her step into power, adding that it has been very “fun” for her to play this changed version of Kimmie.

At the time of writing, the Season 3 release date remains undisclosed. Based on the release pattern of its predecessor, the next installment could arrive sometime during the 2026–2027 cycle. If it follows a two-part format, the first part may debut late this year, with the second arriving early next year.
