It's no secret that Bryan Fuller has been interested in reviving his critically acclaimed NBC series Hannibal in some way following its final season in 2015. The finale left things on a literal cliffhanger that kept the fates of both Mads Mikkelsen's Hannibal Lecter and Hugh Dancy's Will Graham up in the air following their deadly confrontation with Francis Dolarhyde. If he got the chance to make a new series set in the world of Thomas Harris' novels, he not only wants to bring back Mikkelsen's take on the serial killer, but also explore the story of The Silence of the Lambs. In an interview with ScreenRant for his new film, Dust Bunny, at the Toronto International Film Festival, he gave an emphatic response to who he'd want to see take on the iconic role of Clarice Starling — Zendaya.
