HALLE BAILEY UPSET WITH DDG OVER HALO’S APPEARANCE ON KAI CENAT’S LIVESTREAM

Halle Bailey and her ex, rapper DDG, are juggling the challenges of co-parenting while being in the limelight.

Recently, tensions flared when their 11-month-old son, Halo, made an unexpected appearance on popular streamer Kai Cenat’s live broadcast.

Bailey, who was out of town at the time, expressed frustration online, letting her followers know she hadn’t been informed about Halo’s appearance and wasn’t comfortable with him being seen by millions.

“Hi everyone. just so you know i am out of town and i don’t approve of my baby being on a stream tonight,” Halle posted to X, formerly Twitter, after the stream went live. “I wasn’t told or notified and i am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people.”

The 24-year-old added, “I am his mother and protector and saddened that i wasn’t notified especially when i am out of town.”

After posting, Bailey temporarily deactivated her social media accounts. When she returned by the following afternoon, she took a softer stance, acknowledging she “may have overreacted” and that she trusts Halo’s safety with DDG.

Bailey tweeted “Yesterday maybe i did overreact and shouldn’t have brought it here. i know that halo is always safe with his dad. i just don’t like finding out with the rest of the world what my baby is doing. thank u kai for the gifts for Halo.”

Bailey’s strong reaction may have been influenced by the anxiety she feels when leaving Halo for work. Recently, she opened up on Snapchat about her struggle with “crippling anxiety” whenever she has to travel without her son,

The 24-year-old shared an image of herself on the platform with a caption that read: “Flying tonight to be somewhere for one day but having crippling anxiety without my son.” She concluded, asking for advice fro her followers. “Any advice for moms who still can’t handle when they have to leave for work?”

Halo is the only child that Bailey and DDG share. The couple welcomed the adorable almost-one-year-old in December of 2023. The couple split in October of this year.
