Although I wasn't as enamored by the original Hades as some, it was a sterling example of a "starter roguelike." Pretty much anyone can pick it up and get what it's going for, even after just one run, and, likely, that initial run won't be their last. But with Hades 2, I've found myself even more addicted than I was the first time around.
