Argentinian DJ and producer Guti brings a rare versatility to electronic music. He began his musical journey steeped in rock and jazz, performing as a keyboardist in Jóvenes Pordioseros, the hugely successful Buenos Aires-born band celebrated for their dynamic hits and gritty rock power. After transitioning to electronic music, Guti has approached it as an open canvas, freely expressing himself through Latin grooves and intricate rhythms, elements that have become his signature sound.

This ethos is at the heart of his latest studio output, the four-track EP You Know Ya Miss Me, which landed on Damian Lazarus‘ Crosstown Rebels. Marking his return to the label after six years, the project centers on freedom and expression. Each track is crafted with intention, balancing immersive atmospheres with pulse-driven soundscapes made for the dancefloor.

This EP came together very naturally. It was more about capturing a moment, a feeling, and letting the music breathe. Improvisation plays a huge role in how I work, moving towards whatever new ways the music shows me. ‘You Know Ya Miss Me’ is really about trusting that instinct and letting groove and emotion lead the way. These tracks are made for the dancefloor; they’re also about feeling, about movement, tension, release, and connection. I wanted the EP to sound organic and human, like it does when I jam in the studio.
