Fright was directed by Peter Collinson and originally released in 1971. The film stars George, Honor Blackman, Ian Bannen, John Gregson, and Dennis Waterman. Fright comes from a screenplay written by Tudor Gates.

Fright is often said by many in the horror community to be one of, if not the very first, horror movie to feature an isolated babysitter who is attacked by a mysterious person.
The film is cited as a groundbreaking film, with some critics calling it a proto-slasher. While not fully credited with creating the plot of babysitters being targeted in horror films, Fright does serve as one of its earliest iterations.
