We are only eight months into the year, but 2026 is already one of the best in recent memory for horror fans. Some of the best examples include Evil Dead director Sam Raimi's long-awaited return to the genre with Send Help, Severance star Adam Scott's spine-chiller Hokum, Nia DaCosta's inventive, thought-provoking, and brilliantly violent 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, and, of course, Kane Parsons' record-breaking directorial debut Backrooms.
