Letting Go?

On the Friday, June 13, episode of General Hospital, spoilers tease that Tracy (Jane Elliot) is checking in with her granddaughter again but she wrongly assumes that she’s gotten Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) to back down regarding BLQ’s anger at Lulu (Alexa Havins). “Who said I let anything go?” Brook Lynn asks. It looks like Tracy has her work cut out for her if she expects to protect her stepdaughter. But that’s not all on the Quartermaine matriarch’s plate as Tracy also challenges Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Considering the lawyer is barely hanging on, thanks to being blackmailed by Ric (Rick Hearst) and Ava (Maura West) over her homicidal daughter Kristina (Kate Mansi), Tracy may want to watch how far she pushes Alexis.

Tracy isn’t the only one trying to call things down between Brook Lynn and Lulu. Their mutual best friend, Maxie (Kirsten Storms), tries to play peacemaker too, but she may have her work cut out for her. “If you ask me, I didn’t do anything wrong,” Lulu declares to Maxie. Is this regarding something else, because that’s an interesting thing for her to say if she’s referring to the reveal of Gio’s (Giovanni Mazza) biological parents.

Anna (Finola Hughes) reflects on her past but something about it prompts her to question — perhaps to herself, or maybe to someone unseen. “I’d love to know what that is,” Anna says out loud.

Conflict Remains

The tension between Chase (Josh Swickard) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) grows as both work at the Port Charles Police Department. The detectives sit across from each other, but there is a lot of animosity floating in the air. Can things ever get back to normal since Chase kept the fact that his wife Brook Lynn had Dante’s child and never told him? “Is that possible, or are we going to have a problem here?” Chase asks his partner.

Martin (Michael E. Knight) is back and continuing his ambulance chasing — because his ex-wives have taken all of his money. He tried to get Liz (Rebecca Herbst) to sue over his accident, and now it looks like he’s trying to hit up Drew (Cameron Mathison). In a rare moment of self reflection, the congressman asks Martin, “Would Willow be better off without me?” Martin was handling Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) case until he had to leave town. Will he tell Drew the truth or suck up to him to earn some money?

Over at Miller & Davis, Marco (Adrian Anchondo) is taken aback when his mother, Natalia (Eva LaRue), stops by and explains the issues she’s having with the new acting district attorney. “I need you to tell me exactly what you have on Sonny Corinthos,” Marco tells her. Considering his boss Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) is Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) lawyer, whose side will Marco take?

Sonny updates Jason (Steve Burton) about how the new acting D.A., Turner (Nazneen Contractor), is putting the squeeze on Natalia. Things seem pretty clear cut to Jason. “Why don’t you cut your losses and protect yourself?” Jason asks his friend.
