The actor has wrapped up filming a new pilot, giving fans a glimpse of the project he has taken on since leaving his role as Michael Corinthos. Details about the pilot remain limited, but Duell has confirmed that production is complete.

Chad Duell has revealed that he has already moved on to a new television project following his departure from General Hospital, according to Soap Opera Digest. The actor recently completed filming on Ghosts Are Real, a horror-comedy mockumentary pilot focused on a team of paranormal investigators.

Duell announced the completion of the pilot by sharing a picture of the set on his Instagram Stories. In the picture, he donned a black leather jacket and gloves, with dark sunglasses covering his eyes, while a crew member worked a camera behind him through a cloud of smoke. He captioned the image, “Pilot in the books,” and added, “Can’t wait to share it with you all.”

The project takes a mockumentary approach to paranormal investigations, following two investigators and their crew as they examine reports of supernatural activity at locations across the country. Its first episode, “The Scooters,” focuses on Harold and Dolores Scooter’s home and the strange events the team encounters there. While the project has not yet been confirmed as a full series, Duell’s involvement gives a first look at what could reportedly become his next television role.

Duell’s previous television role was Michael Corinthos on General Hospital. Talking about his exit, he said, “It’s a life adjustment. A lot of stuff’s been going on in my life. There’s a few things behind it, but one thing I did say is my dad passed away, and I’m still coming to terms with that.”

The actor has also been working on music and released his first single in June. Since then, he has continued to record and release new material.
