The Friday. March 13 episode of General Hospital was full of revelations. Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Lulu (Alexa Havins) came to a realization about their friendship, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) bonded with baby Jane Doe as Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) found a clue to her mother’s identity, Sonny (Maurice Benard) helped Gio (Giovanni Mazza) plot his future, and Stella (Vernee Watson) and Portia (Brook Kerr) both discovered what Jordan (Tanisha Harper) has been hiding. Here’s how it all went down.

Heart to Heart

Lulu showed up at Maxie’s while Maxie and Nathan were discussing Nathan and Lulu’s burgeoning relationship. Maxie invited her in, but it quickly devolved into Maxie/Lulu bickering, and Nathan tried to break it up. He declared that the women’s friendship was more important than anything, but it was up to the two of them to work through their conflict. After encouraging them to clear the air, he left them to it.

Once they were alone, Lulu pointed out that if she ended things with Nathan because of Maxie, she would end up resenting her. “I guess it’s better for everyone if I’m the resentful one, then,” snarked Maxie. Fearing there was no way to salvage this friendship, Lulu started to leave. Maxie cried that she didn’t understand how Lulu could welcome her back while lying to her face the entire time about falling for Nathan, adding, “That changes how I feel about us.” Lulu pointed out that Maxie had just come out of a coma, and confirmed that if Maxie had chosen Nathan over Spinelli, she would have walked away from him — though she confessed she was relieved when Maxie picked Spinelli. Lulu hoped that they could figure out a way forward together. Maxie lamented that she felt like she was losing both her and Nathan, but Lulu promised, “You’re my person.”

What’s in a Name

At the PCPD, Chase approached Dante to volunteer to lead the search for Baby Jane Doe’s family. Dante understood that Chase was invested, but frowned, “Unfortunately, we’ve turned up nothing.” Dante got a call and reported to Chase that they’d just gotten a hit — a woman matching Delilah’s description was seen getting off a train from Manhattan, and security had two suitcases with first class tags that Nathan was going to check out. Chase wanted to help with the inventory, but Dante reminded Chase that he couldn’t do detective work while wearing a uniform. Chase was disappointed but understood. Nathan arrived with the suitcases, and Dante promised to let Chase know as soon as they got their hands on a name. In the interrogation room, Nathan and Dante tried to move past the awkwardness between them over the whole Lulu situation to check out the luggage. The only clue they found among the clothes and baby items was the luggage tags with Delilah’s last name, Wilson. When Lulu stopped by the station, she updated Nathan on her conversation with Maxie and invited him to dinner at her place.

Girl Power

Trina greeted Elizabeth at G.H., having stopped by with a surprise for Portia. Liz was on her way to alert Portia when Brook Lynn intercepted her, wanting to know if any family members had surfaced looking for Delilah or her baby. Liz had no news on that front but noted that the PCPD was on the case. Brook Lynn looked deflated, and Liz suggested they go up to the NICU to check on the newborn. As they gazed upon the baby, Liz assured Brook Lynn that the little girl was doted on by the staff. Liz had to nix Brook Lynn’s request to hold the baby herself, but allowed her to sit with the child. Brook Lynn introduced herself to the baby, telling her, “I knew your mom for a little while.” She lamented that she hadn’t been able to hold her own baby (Gio) either and hoped one day she’d be able to hold her.

When Chase joined his wife, he filled her in on the luggage that they’d found, and they hoped it would give them a lead on finding the newborn’s family. Brook Lynn invited him to visit the baby, and Chase assured the infant that she would be with her family again soon before singing a lullaby that brought his wife to tears.

Opposite this, Felicia told Liz that if no family members came forward before Baby Jane Doe was ready to be released from the hospital, she would have to go into foster care. Talk turned to Lulu and Nathan seeing each other. Felicia sighed that their new relationship “just seems so unfair to Maxie and Dante.” Liz gently advised her not to meddle, counsel that Felicia accepted good-naturedly. Later, Felicia came home, and Maxie filled her in on Nathan and Lulu’s visits, telling her mom that it was difficult, but she realized she didn’t want to get in the way of either of them finding happiness. Dante arrived at the hospital to ask Liz about the baby’s condition and revealed that they were looking for the family of Delilah Wilson.

The Music Man

Sonny entered Charlie’s and found Gio strumming on a guitar. Gio explained that he was helping Kristina plan for an open mic night at the bar. Sonny encouraged his grandson to embrace his desire to play music and figure out what he wants. Gio wasn’t sure what that was, but Sonny said that him playing guitar to no one meant music was his life. Gio mused that growing up, he was supposed to become a violinist, but finding out who his true parents are made him question everything about himself. He wanted to find what makes him happy, but didn’t know where to start. Sonny suggested he go back to school at PCU, and it didn’t need to be music — he could explore whatever he wanted. But he did urge him not to give up on music and suggested Gio keep performing for himself.

Pregnant Pause

Stella stopped by Jordan’s with a belated housewarming gift and was taken aback when Curtis answered the door. Curtis broke the news that he and Jordan were living together and he’d signed the house over to Portia. Stella was pleased to hear he was moving on and assured him she wanted him to be happy, but expressed concern he was moving on too quickly. She noted that his ex-wife was pregnant and he was moving in with his other ex-wife without taking time to grieve his last marriage. She urged him to be with Jordan but not live with her. Later, Stella went looking for a pen and paper to leave Jordan a note while Curtis was busy working, and stumbled across the pregnancy test in Jordan’s bag.

Jordan and Justine met up at the nail salon. Sensing Justine’s distraction, Jordan guessed that her pal was thinking about Sonny. Justine thanked Jordan for helping her avoid disaster on the Sonny front while flashing back to her night of passion with the mobster. Jordan disclosed to Justine that her ex-husband was moving in with her. “This time, it feels right,” bubbled Jordan, who added that despite one “complication,” she thought things were going to work out with Curtis. As if on cue, Portia and Trina entered the salon. Fearing her surprise was being ruined, Trina offered to take her mom somewhere else, but Portia was determined to find a way to coexist with Jordan. Justine said good-bye to Jordan and left, pausing outside the salon to look conflicted. Trina had to excuse herself to take care of something for school, leaving Portia alone with Jordan. After witnessing Jordan rush to the bathroom, Portia confronted her and noted, “You look about as green as I was at the Quartermaine tea party. Maybe you’re pregnant, too.” When Jordan averted her eyes, Portia spat, “You have got to be kidding me. You’re pregnant?!”
