On the October 30 episode of General Hospital, Portia (Brook Kerr) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) tried to hash out what her pregnancy means for their future, Drew (Cameron Mathison) took delight in Tracy’s (Jane Elliot) devastation, Sonny (Maurice Benard) apologized to Justine (Nazaneen Contractor), and Cody (Josh Kelly) and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) nearly kissed! Here’s how it all went down and everything else that happened.
Baby Talk
When Curtis confronted Portia about whether she was pregnant, she got huffy about Jordan’s involvement in her personal life and wanted to know when and where the other woman had shared her suspicion with him. Curtis revealed that it had been over dinner at Jordan’s apartment. With tears in her eyes, Portia acknowledged that she was pregnant. It was then Curtis’s turn to get angry when Portia revealed that she’d known for about three weeks, and he wanted to know why she hadn’t told him sooner. He was relieved that Portia never considered terminating but yelled that she couldn’t cut him out since he was the father. Portia claimed that she’d held off on telling him because of the increased risk of miscarriage at her age, and that she wanted to keep the news from Trina until she was further along, so their daughter didn’t get her hopes up.
Curtis agreed to hold off on telling Trina, but wondered if it was wise for them to proceed with their divorce now that Portia was expecting a baby. Portia pointed out that all the time Curtis had been spending with Jordan indicated that he wasn’t interested in her or their marriage. To that, Curtis insisted that Jordan had no bearing on their child because he wasn’t going to miss out on raising this baby the way he had with Trina. However, Portia didn’t think the baby was a reason to reconcile, since their reasons for getting divorced to begin with were still an issue. Curtis acknowledged that he wasn’t sure if that was the right move either, opining that they should give some thought to the kind of life they want for their baby and for themselves.

Grill Talk
Justine met with Jordan at the Metro Court to talk about what the former police commissioner had learned about Sonny during her time at the PCPD. When Jordan revealed that she’d never been successful in building a case against Sonny because he was a smart man with powerful friends, including Mayor Collins, Justine questioned whether Laura was protecting him. Jordan mused that since he was a philanthropist in Port Charles, many people in high positions liked him. Justine stated that Sonny’s overconfidence in expecting people to like him could be his weakness. Jordan agreed that the best way to take Sonny down was if he slipped up or incriminated himself. Then she told Justine about the time Dante was working undercover in Sonny’s organization and was nearly killed when his cover was exposed, and that he was only alive because of the in-the-moment revelation that Dante was Sonny’s son.
Elsewhere at the restaurant, Laura caught up with Sonny and filled him in on how she’d walked in on Drew aggressively threatening Danny and Rocco at the Quartermaines’. She figured Drew would be focusing his energy on exonerating Willow, Laura added, but instead, he’s walking around with a swaggering confidence as if he’s untouchable. Laura said she didn’t doubt that Drew would suddenly remember it was Michael who shot him, and Sonny agreed that the congressman would do anything to hurt the mayor’s campaign. “In his mind, pinning this on Michael kills two birds with one stone,” Sonny mused, adding as he glanced across the room to Justine, that it was lucky for them that Drew wasn’t the one prosecuting Willow’s case.

Private Invitation: Justine (Nazneen Contractor) turned on the charm with Sonny (Maurice Benard).ABC
Sonny texted Justine to meet him at the table in the hallway. He apologized for overstepping during their last conversation regarding Michael and asked how he could make it up to her. Justine requested one of his homemade pizzas but didn’t want to be seen at his house. Sonny said he’d find a place to cook for her, but how would he know that she’d show up? “You don’t,” she teased.
Meanwhile, Laura joined Jordan at her table, wanting an update on Sidwell. Jordan didn’t have anything to share, she stated, partially because her personal life has been a mess lately over Curtis. Hearing that Laura had been with Curtis earlier, Jordan asked if he’d shared that she suspected Portia was pregnant, but quickly apologized, not wanting to put Laura in the middle because of her friendship with him. After Laura reassured Jordan that they were friends as well, Jordan opened up about her reignited feelings for Curtis and how he’d shared that he still had feelings for her as well. But none of that mattered, she added, because if Portia was pregnant, he’d step up to do the right thing for the baby.

Time To Wine Down
At the hospital, Jason surprised Britt, who’d had a really bad day at work, with the key to her new car, and suggested they go to the Brown Dog to celebrate. Lulu and Tracy were at the bar, making a toast to Monica, when Drew and Martin showed up. When Drew teased Tracy about drowning her sorrows, she barked back that the house was too big for him, considering that his lawyer and girlfriend, who was in prison for shooting him, were the only people who could stand to be around him. Before Martin could pull Drew away, Drew taunted Tracy that taking the house was just the beginning of what was coming to her.
Once settled at a table, Drew gloated over Tracy’s devastation, and Martin lamented that he hadn’t been expecting his niece to pick up the pieces of Tracy’s decimation. Changing the subject, Drew wanted to know how Martin got Ronnie to change her mind about selling him the house, since she’d initially turned him down. Martin claimed that he simply told Ronnie the easiest way to get back at Tracy was to sell Drew the estate, and she had agreed.

Across the room, a seething Tracy called Martin and Drew bottom-feeders, then offered a sympathetic shoulder as Lulu vented about how Rocco went behind her back to see Britt and Liesl. She advised her former stepdaughter to remember that Rocco is basically honest and decent, adding (as she glared at Drew) that those qualities are hard to come by. Then it was her turn to give advice, so Lulu urged Tracy not to pick a fight at the bar but wait until Drew was least expecting it to strike back. Reluctantly, Tracy acknowledged that she should have taken Lulu’s advice to play nice with Ronnie, because she drove Monica’s sister to sell their home to the family’s worst enemy.
Tripped Up
On their way out of the bar, Drew stopped by Lulu and Tracy’s table to drop the bombshell that his purchase included everything inside the house as well. As Drew taunted Tracy about burning all the furniture, Britt and Jason entered the bar, and Jason kicked his twin’s feet out from under him. Tracy laughed as Drew crumbled to the floor, and Jason promptly escorted the congressman outside, Martin hot on his heels. Returning to the table, Jason stood in silence as Tracy admonished him for welcoming Ronnie into the family in the first place, and he appeared distressed as Lulu convinced Tracy to leave.

Later, Jason wanted to ask Britt questions about the Five Poppies and Faison, but she proposed a deal: She wouldn’t ask him about the Quartermaines and Tracy blaming him for the family losing the house if he gave her five hours without mentioning Faison’s name. She broke their deal moments later, however, when she asked Jason why he let Tracy walk all over him earlier. With a sigh, Jason quietly revealed that he didn’t push back because he knew Tracy was right — and because his mom wanted Ronnie to have the house, he wanted to do what Monica wanted by not getting involved. They shared a moment when Britt reassured him that he had no idea how things could have played out with Ronnie and Drew, then Jason slid the key across the table and told Britt to take him for a ride.
Kiss Interrupted
Invited to the Quartermaine mansion by Cody, Molly primped her hair before knocking on the door. Thinking that he’d asked her over to hang out, Molly was disappointed that Cody instead needed advice on real estate law since Ronnie was selling the house, and he wanted to do something to help the Quartermaines. He asked Molly to investigate the legality of the sale, but she stated that private home sales are outside of the DA office’s purview. When Cody voiced his concern that the deal was shady — otherwise, why would Ronnie be selling it to Drew? — Molly agreed that it all seemed odd, but at face value, it was not illegal. She wondered what the sale would mean for Cody, and he shrugged that he’d quit before Drew could fire him, then probably pack up Outback and return to the stunt circuit. Molly covered her upset by giving Cody reasons to stick around Port Charles. He’d be fine, Cody insisted, but the Qs didn’t deserve to be kicked out of their home. Cody then told Molly how, before he knew he was a Scorpio, Tracy and the rest of the Quartermaines made him feel like part of their family. Molly agreed to speak with ADA Turner to see if there was a possible criminal pretext for the sale, and she and Cody drew closer as he praised her for being smart and passionate and “great.” But just as they were about to kiss, they were interrupted by the doorbell!

Opening the door, Cody saw Drew and asked what he was doing there. “I don’t need a reason to be here. This is my house,” Drew smirked as he entered the foyer. When Molly echoed Cody’s claim that it wasn’t his house yet, Drew threatened to prevent Scout from having family visits if she didn’t change her tone. Then he informed them that since it was a cash deal, he’d take possession as soon as Ronnie signed the contract. “It’s a funny thing, though, if you think about it,” Drew informed Molly and Cody as his expression grew more arrogant. “My family once tried to kick me out of this house. And now, I’m about to own the entire estate, and Tracy and Michael and the rest of them, they’ll be gone. And I will be here. And everything will be mine.”

Back at Lulu’s house, Tracy manically began going through the boxes of her belongings and broke down upon finding Alan’s medical school diplomas. Comforting her with a hug, Lulu promised to help Tracy go through the boxes the next day and got her settled on the couch for the night. Sitting alone, crying in the dark, Tracy clutched her monogrammed pillowcases and held Alan’s diploma on her lap, mourning all she’d lost. But just a few feet away, unbeknownst to Tracy, a folder containing Monica’s will was inside one of the boxes!
