Heading into its sophomore season, Gen Vseason 2 had big shoes to fill, but that didn't stop The Boys spinoff from being more ambitious than ever. In the wake of the Gen V season 1 finale, our heroes' fates were uncertain. Carted off to Elmira, which takes on a much larger role in the series' new installment, the show weaves even more trauma into the story. The characters come into their powers as adults grappling with the kind of people they want to be. However, just because there are bigger questions to take on, doesn't mean there's any less gore.
