Garda believed Tina Satchwell was dead 18 months before her body was found buried under stairs of Cork home

The senior Garda officer appointed in 2021 to lead the Tina Satchwell investigation confirmed to a murder trial that she came to the belief that Tina was no longer alive and that her husband, Richard, needed to be arrested and an intrusive search of the family home conducted to properly investigate her death.
