Argentinian DJ and producer Franco Schmidt has been carving out his place in the house music scene since 2014, taking his sound from his native country to stages across Colombia, Peru, Spain, and Italy. With an instinct for rhythm and movement, his productions incorporate rolling drum patterns and punchy kicks, creating a sound that is both driving and immersive.

As he continues to refine his craft, Franco Schmidt is building a distinct sonic identity rooted in the dance floor and shaped by his experiences across the international circuit. Releasing with Hot Creations is a real pleasure and a source of pride for me, as I’m the first Argentine to release an EP on the label. My inspiration for making the track was Jamie; I have enormous admiration and respect for his entire career. I’m very grateful for the opportunity they’ve given me.

Némesis marks the first time an Argentinian artist has released on the esteemed label, bringing Franco Schmidt’s unique musical perspective to the roster. Then, “Ecléctico” follows with bolder, darker main-character energy, balancing quiet confidence with an infectious rush that gives the EP a feel-good adrenaline.

With his Hot Creations debut marking a new chapter, Franco Schmidt is steadily bringing his sound to wider audiences worldwide. His evolving sound has also landed on multiple labels, including Beachside Records, LTF Records, Province 44, and Mood Child, with support from Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, and Seth Troxler. Alongside his work as an artist, he has also launched his own imprint, Sugaro Music, further shaping his vision from behind the scenes.
