A Final Fantasy Tactics remake is all well and good, but another game by Hironobu Sakaguchi might be more deserving of the remake treatment. First released for the PlayStation in 1997, FF Tactics is a bit of an outlier among Final Fantasy spinoffs in its quality and success. Tactics is typically considered one of the best Final Fantasy games of all time - it's got a powerful, mature, politically relevant story, and unique gameplay that adds a strategic twist to classic turn-based FF combat. It was only a matter of time until Tactics got a remake.
