Florida woman fights off 5-foot alligator with bare hands to save 4-month-old puppy

A Florida woman saved her 4-month-old puppy from a 5-foot alligator by slugging the beast in the eye until it let go. Danie Wright said she refused to let go of Dax as the gator dragged him toward a creek near her home in Land O' Lakes, 20 miles north of Tampa.
