Floribama Shore Is One Of My All-Time Favorite MTV Reality Shows, And This Is Why I Don’t Consider It A Guilty Pleasure

Back in the heyday of classic MTV reality TV, they were best known for Jersey Shore and The Hills, but I think a little show called Floribama Shore also deserves to be recognized among those greats. Floribama Shore was the little shore show that could, premiering on Nov. 17, 2017 and running for four seasons, ending in 2021. The original cast—Aimee Hall, Nilsa Prowant, Kirk Medas, Codi Butts, Candace Rice, Jeremiah Buoni, Gus Smyrnios, and Kortni Gilson—remained largely unchanged, aside from The Challenge's Mattie Lynn Breaux stepping in to replace Kortni after her departure midway through season 3.
