PADDY McGuinness’s second series of the show Tempting Fortune promises an epic clash of characters as they race across Langkawi, Malaysia, to try and win a cut of the £300,000 jackpot.
In a first look, two contestants get involved in a screaming match as their limits are pushed to breaking point and tempers become increasingly frayed as they try and get through a punishing 18-day trek wading through swamps and navigating jungles.

Former Top Gear star Paddy, 51, returns for a second helping of the Channel 4 adventure show following its debut in 2023.
It sees ordinary civilians from all walks of life compete in a gruelling trek across a remote location with some of life’s best luxuries to tempt them.
However, doing so sees the £300,000 prize pot decrease and upsets the rest of the tired and starved group.
In a shakeup for series two, Tempting Fortune has moved to a new location – Langkawi, Malaysia.
And the temptations are even great than before – with a Chinese Restaurant, a Spa, a 7-star Super Yacht, luxury hotel and a larger-than-life swimming pool all built across the vast Malaysian landscape all up for grabs.
At one point in the trek, ex-restaurant owner Sam, 40, appears to lose her mind when Vicki, 37, indulges in a bag of delicious chips.
Sam rages at Vicki: “What did you come here for!?” To which Vicki hilariously replies: “To test myself!” Fuming, Sam tells her: “You could have done that on the treadmill at the gym!”
The first look of the show looks like a glorious mix of backstabbing, tantrums and arguments as the contestants grow increasingly annoyed with one another and desperate for home comforts – perfect TV viewing.
Tempting Fortune launches on Sunday, March 16 at 9pm on Channel 4 and streaming.
