Firefly may be one of the most well-known sci-fi TV shows canceled far too soon, but fans of the cult classic have some great options to choose from. Firefly was, undoubtedly, special for its time. The show follows the Firefly-class spaceship named Serenity and its motley crew of smugglers, good-hearted petty criminals, and passengers trying to make a living in a post-war universe. The sci-fi genre does not always get the respect that it deserves and many canceled sci-fi shows don't get closure, being left with unresolved cliffhanger endings. That said, many of these shows are still well worth watching.
