That’s the day both Band of Brothers and The Pacific, two of the most acclaimed WWII miniseries ever made, will officially leave Netflix. Both shows remain available on HBO Max in the U.S., but the removal from Netflix is a major blow to casual viewers who’ve rediscovered them in recent years. In countries like Germany and even Mauritania, the series have been streaming chart hits, a testament to their enduring appeal more than a decade (and in Band of Brothers’ case, two decades) after release.
