The official Fire Emblem social media account posted information on Fabio, a playable character who will be available in Dietrich’s route in Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. He has ties to the Church of Seiros, which ran the Garreg Mach Monastery and Officer’s Academy in Three Houses.

According to his profile, Fabio hails from the distant land of Fodlan and is a mysterious missionary from the Church of Seiros. Despite his rational personality, he has a habit of looking down on others and calling them “beasts.” Though he and Dietrich hail from the same homeland, they did not know each other prior to the events of the game. He likes various kinds of pain and conversing with intelligent people.

There are also two short videos that delve deeper into Fabio’s personality and play style. We can see in his conversation with Tiara that he treats people he deems intelligent with respect regardless of their age. In battle, he can use Dark Magic as well as heal allies.
