Jordan Chiles captioned her post on Instagram, “Chat- we made it!!!! DWTS!!! p.s- when fifth harmony has a reunion!!!” Adding to the DWTS excitement for both gymnastics and pop music fans, Fifth Harmony (Ally Brooke, Normani, Lauren Jauregui, and Dinah Jane) surprised everyone with a reunion that week. In the post, she wore a turquoise blue dance dress featuring a plunging V-neckline, sleeveless design, sequins, and fringe. But now that she is in DWTS, what about her UCLA practice?

Inside Gymnastics Magazine announced via their Instagram 5 days ago,”🤸‍♀️🤝💃 After it was announced that Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles is joining this season of the hit television show Dancing with the Stars, many wondered if she would still be working out with her NCAA teammates while on the show. UCLA Athletics confirmed to Inside Gymnastics that she will indeed be training with the team this quarter.” Yup, the Olympian is going to balance her UCLA practice and DWTS together. How does her partner feel about it?

Taking this to post to his Instagram story, Ezra Sosa took to his Instagram story to drop a wholesome message for the gymnast. He wrote, “watching @jordanchiles balance her NCAA gymnastics training at UCLA, all while rehearsing every day at DWTS blows my mind. The discipline and artistry she brings into the studio is UNREAL!!! and it inspires me in so many ways, Getting to dance with her has been the absolute bes🥹Go l’m so grateful.” The DWTS star is, of course, very proud of Jordan Chiles for managing both her NCAA Career and DWTS.

Chiles is just the third active NCAA athlete to compete on Dancing with the Stars, joining Arike Ogunbowale (Notre Dame women’s basketball) and Suni Lee. And if she wins it, she will be the third gymnast after Shawn Johnson and Laurie Hernandez to do so. And Ezra is already certain that partnering with the Olympian will yield better results than last year.

Chiles and Sosa are also a whole vibe together; their interviews on the DWTS carpet, their interaction with each other show why the two of them are paired together. The coordination is great. Ezra himself feels he can do a lot better than his last time.

Ezra Sosa on why he is excited to be with Jordan Chiles

In an interview on September 4 Sosa answered the doubt of height difference between him and Chiles. He said, “What do you mean? There’s no height difference here. What height difference are you talking about? I’m just standing next to my partner right here. A lot of people have been asking me if the height difference is going to hinder us. Honestly, I think it’s going to allow us to be more creative. And that’s what I’m really excited about.” Sosa stands at 6ft, while Chiles is 4’11.

In the interview, Chiles talked about how he has been watching the show since she was 5 years old.  “Those are very different people with very different backgrounds and different work ethics. Definitely, my approach with how I was with Anna is not going to be how I am with her. Right. She clearly is more capable,” Ezra Sosa answered when asked about how working with Jordan Chiles feels after working with Anna Delvey (Anna Sorokin).

She’s a diva and she can perform. So what I’m actually super excited about is the fact that I get to showcase my choreography a little bit more,” he added. With Delvey last year, Ezra was eliminated in Week 2, on September 24, 2024, after receiving some of the lowest scores and votes. How do you think he will perform with an Olympian by his side now?
