Filmfare has learnt that actor Sara Arjun has moved on from her previous agency and has joined YRF Talent, the talent management arm of Yash Raj Films. The move comes at a time when talent management has become an increasingly important part of an actor’s career, with artistes making moves between agencies for new opportunities and the right projects.
According to our sources, Sara’s move to YRF Talent comes alongside an exciting new project. The actor is set to headline filmmaker Maneesh Sharma’s next, opposite Ambrish Verma, who is known for his work in Sapne Vs Everyone.
Sara, who began her career as a child actor and has worked across Hindi and South Indian cinema, has steadily taken on more substantial roles over the years. She shot to fame after Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar: The Revenge, in which she starred alongside Ranveer Singh.
YRF Talent, meanwhile, has been expanding its roster of young talent. The agency currently represents actors such as Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda and Sharvari, alongside established names.
With Sara Arjun now joining the roster and a new film with Maneesh Sharma reportedly in the works, it remains to be seen if this marks the beginning of more talent movements across the industry.
