His statement was corroborated by posts from Superman actor David Corenswet and Lex Luthor actor Nicholas Hoult. These announcements were coupled with art from DC stalwarts Jim Lee, Jorge Jiménez, and Mitch Gerads, all depicting the Man of Steel alongside Lex Luthor in his infamous green-and-purple warsuit. The first piece of artwork features the characters appearing downright chummy, while the second shows them squaring up alongside one another. This has led many critics and fans to speculate that the Big Blue Boy Scout and his greatest nemesis may be teaming up in this next outing, likely to ally against a superior threat.
