Ethan Hawke's Most Underrated $60K Western Finally Finds a New Streaming Home

While audiences enjoy Ethan Hawke's performance in the new FX series The Lowdown, and wait for the release of Nouvelle Vague, his new movie with director Richard Linklater, they can check out one of the most underrated films that he has ever been in. In 2016, Hawke starred alongside John Travoltain arguably the finest recent Western film that wasn't directed by the Coens or Quentin Tarantino: In a Valley of Violence. Ironically, it's also among the biggest box office bombs of the last decade, which means that the majority of the people who've watched it have done so at home. And now, the film will become more easily available to fans of Westerns, as it lands on a new streaming service on October 1.
