Back-to-school season is upon us, and students aren't the only ones getting ready for another year of hard work — so the time is right for a show called English Teacher to release its second season right about now. The critically acclaimed sitcom released by FX just last year is premiering its second run just as schools are reopening their doors after a long summer. The first three episodes will premiere together on Hulu, with the remaining premiering in two-episode drops every week thereafter, but there's no need to worry: watching them feels nothing like homework. Though it falters occasionally, English Teacher Season 2 is just as entertaining as the first, with the added benefit of expanding its characters' universe through themes ranging from COVID to waste disposal to just a regular outing between coworkers turned friends.
