Emmerdale spoilers for next week reveal devastating news as a comeback rocks the village

Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) is released from prison next week, and there’s only one place he wants to go – the Emmerdale village.

The beloved character was sent back inside recently due to breaking the rules of his bail conditions. When he gets back to the Dales, he tells Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) that he’s going to be seeing a lot more of him now.

What trouble is he going to cause?

Also in the village next week, Charity (Emma Atkins) makes a major discovery while Bear Wolf’s (Joshua Richards) behaviour gets worse.

Monday, June 16

Aaron admits to Vic that he doesn’t want to visit Robert, so she goes alone. When she returns, Vic opens up to Aaron about the state she found her brother in, and he feels worried.

With Victoria unsure as to how to help her brother, what will Aaron do next?

Elsewhere, Paddy (Dominic Brunt) surprises Bear with news that he can fix his motorbike at the garage. However, when Pads and Mandy (Lisa Riley) later see Bear erupt in fury at the bike, they realise something is wrong with him.

Tuesday, June 17

Aaron visits Robert (Picture: ITV)

This episode will focus on Robert’s return to our screens. Aaron will visit his ex in prison, and is challenged once again when Robert admits that he’s still in love with him.

The character will then face off with his distant brother, as John arrives ready for a tense conversation.

Wednesday, June 18

Vinny continues to ignore Kammy (Picture: ITV)

Outside the garage, Bear grows frustrated at the motorbike again. He takes his anger out on Kammy (Shebz Miah) and even ends up threatening him. This is witnessed by Paddy, who is worried about his father. Later, at Tenant’s, Paddy and Mandy are dumbfounded when Bear returns and pretends that nothing has happened.

With Bear refusing to open up, he heads off upstairs, leaving Pads and Mands concerned that things are about to get even worse.

Also, Vinny (Bradley Johnson) continues to give Kammy the cold shoulder, while Tracy (Amy Walsh) makes it clear she’s not interested in Vanessa’s (Michelle Hardwick) excuses.

Thursday, June 19

Charity learns about Sarah’s secret (Picture: ITV)

Sarah (Katie Hill) goes for her procedure and learns from Doctor Knapp that a good amount of eggs have been retrieved for viability.

Back at home, Charity takes a call on Sarah’s phone from the hospital and is horrified by what she hears. When Sarah gets back, she realises that Charity now knows about her cancer.

Meanwhile, Mandy persuades Paddy to confront his worries for his dad head on, but he then discovers Bear and his motorbike are missing.

Also, Aaron and John (Oliver Farnworth) get a huge shock when Robert arrives home. He announces that he’s back to spend more time with his family.

Friday, June 20

Vic warns Robert that he needs to face up to his prison trauma before it sends him back to that very place. What will Robert’s return mean for Aaron now?
