Emmerdale’s Gabby makes wedding cheating confession as Vinny battles life destroying secret

Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) has a bomb to drop on her new hubby, completely unaware that Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) has been battling his own guilty conscience in Emmerdale. 

Her guilt has been written all over her face in the lead up to the wedding, with sneaky hints there was something she wasn’t saying. Enter Bernice (Samantha Giles), who made a shock entrance on the wedding morning and revealed that Gabby has been living a lie. 

She cornered her daughter on the fact that she slept with someone else before the big day. But wanting to have at least one wedding day go well, Gabby chose to keep it to herself. 

‘It was one stupid drunken mistake’, she told Bernice of her one night stand in Portugal. ‘I was stressed about the wedding. And those cocktails are lethal.’

Vinny, meanwhile, chose not to disclose that he’s been struggling with his sexuality, so they’re kind of even, and neither have so far confessed to one another. 

But Gabby is being eaten up inside and when it all becomes too much to bear, she blurts it all out – to Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy). 

Now Gabby has a dilemma on her hands – does she tell Vinny?

If she does, there’s a chance he might forgive given what he’s hiding himself.

Ultimately, Gabby makes the controversial secret to take her cheating to the grave, leaving Laurel disappointed in her stepdaughter. 

As they both continue to hold their tongues, Gabby is thrilled that Vinny can now officially adopt Thomas. But are their truths about to destroy them both?
