There were many champions of the acting world in 2024, although few had a bigger year than the effortlessly engaging Ella Purnell. Earning widespread acclaim for her performance as Lucy MacLean in Prime Video's video game adaptation Fallout, even winning the Madame Figaro Rising Star Award at the 7th Cannes International Series Festival, Purnell finished the year on top of the world, helped in no small part by the release of the brilliant dark comedy series, Sweetpea.
