**Two months after Elderbrook releases Heart on a Wire, he plans to embark on a North American tour of the album’s namesake.**

Elderbrook is gearing up to release his fourth studio-length album, and he’s wasted no time announcing the North American headline tour in support of the effort.

Heart on a Wire, as it’s titled, arrives by way of Ninja Tune sublabel Counter Records on January 22. Elderbrook (real name Alexander Harry Kotz) has followed up yesterday’s announcement with that of the entire run of dates he’s set to embark on less than two months after its release.

From March 18 – April 3, Kotz looks to headline venues in 11 cities throughout Canada and the US. The tour kicks off with a performance at HISTORY Ottawa before he touches down at spaces like MTELUS in Montreal, Roadrunner in Boston, BERHTA in Washington, DC, and The Truman in Kansas City. Kotz is set to cap off the tour in grand fashion with a headline set at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado.

“Making Heart on a Wire felt like reconnecting with the instincts that first drew me to music,” Kotz said. “I wanted to approach the album more from an indie music point of view, following ideas wherever they led and letting the songs take shape naturally. That process helped me make a record that feels genuinely true to who I am as a musician.”

In the lead-up to the album release, Kotz has shared a new track from his upcoming effort titled “Lost in the View.” Inspired by his recent move from the UK to Los Angeles, its gentle plucks and tender vocals offer a glimpse of what’s to come when Heart on a Wire releases in full.
