**Elderbrook embraces vulnerability on his latest single, “Lost in the View,” and shared that his new album, Heart on a Wire, arrives January 22, 2027.**

What would it mean to see the world through the eyes of your younger self? Elderbrook explores that question on his fourth studio album, Heart on a Wire, arriving January 22, 2027 via Counter Records. Across ten tracks, the British DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist revisits childhood innocence, curiosity and the wonder of discovering the world for the first time.

Four years in the making, Heart on a Wire traces back to a conversation he had with a stranger at a festival who said she wanted to reconnect with her childlike self. That encounter prompted him to reflect more deeply on his own life and explore a more vulnerable side of his storytelling. Drawing on indie rock influences, the album also sees him look beyond the dancefloor, using electronic music to express more personal themes.

Making ‘Heart on a Wire’ felt like reconnecting with the instincts that first drew me to music. I wanted to approach the album more from an indie music point of view, following ideas wherever they led and letting the songs take shape naturally. That process helped me make a record that feels genuinely true to who I am as a musician.

Listeners can sense that discovery in the album’s latest single, “Lost in the View,” inspired by Elderbrook’s move from the UK to Los Angeles. Surrounded by a new environment, he captures the uncertainty of the unknown but also the vast possibilities of starting anew. Atmospheric synths and dreamy basslines are layered into the song, inviting listeners to consider what new beginnings might hold for them

The single arrives alongside a black-and-white official music video starring Elderbrook himself, featuring two people dancing in the rain. Through its stripped-back choreography and striking visuals, the video accentuates the song’s introspective mood while highlighting how movement can convey emotions beyond words.

As the title suggests, Heart on a Wire captures the essence of dance music and the importance of staying open to the world. For Elderbrook, happiness means embracing the unknown and letting whatever comes next move him.
