EDC Mexico Unveils Official Theme for 2027 Edition

The upcoming edition of EDC Mexico will feature the kineticJOURNEY theme, taking headliners on a memorable trip to a new universe. Tickets go back on sale next week!

EDC Mexico has become one of the prime editions of Electric Daisy Carnival that dance music lovers can attend each year. In 2027, the festival will make its grand return to Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City on February 19-21, offering yet another impressive experience from Insomniac and OCESA. Today, the festival organizers placed another piece of the EDC Mexico puzzle with the latest announcement: the official theme.

The upcoming edition of EDC Mexico will feature the kineticJOURNEY theme, which debuted at EDC Las Vegas in May. This theme is defined by the paths that are taken in life, which, while different, are all aligned for dance music lovers who share a passion for music, connection, and energy when united under the electric sky.

Over the past three decades, EDC has been a gathering for millions of people from all walks of life, beliefs, and cultures. Each of you brings your own story, and that diversity is what makes our community special. Although we may be different, we share a bond: a passion for music, connection, and the energy that comes alive when we unite. Paired with the theme’s reveal is news that passes for the 2027 edition will go back on sale soon. Pricing during the upcoming sale starts at $218 (MXN $3,680+fees) for GA, $265 (MXN $4,480+fees) for GA+ Comfort Pass, and $435 (MXN $7,360+fees) for VIP Banamex Plus. The VIP passes offer unique perks, including a dedicated fast-pass entry line, as well as exclusive bars, restrooms, activations, merchandise, viewing areas, and more.

The Preventa Banamex kicks off on Tuesday, September 15 at 2pm CT/1pm PT, while the general sale begins on Wednesday, September 16 at 2pm CT/1pm PT.
