The following article contains spoilers from an episode of EastEnders that hasn’t aired on BBC One yet, but is available to view on BBC iPlayer.

Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) was back showing her ruthless side in tonight’s EastEnders as she sat and sipped some alcohol while leaving Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) to die.

Nish has a heart condition and may not live long enough to get a transplant. Over the past few months, the Panesars have been working together to try and get Nish to leave everything he owns to them in his will.

It’s been a plan that’s involved a lot of lies from Suki and youngest son Vinny (Shiv Jalota). Unfortunately though, Nish caught on with Vinny’s change in behaviour in recent weeks and managed to work out he was hiding something.

He took advantage by telling Vinny that his name would soon go above their chicken shop businesses. To Vinny, someone who has craved his dad’s approval all of his life, this was fantastic news but to Suki – she knew something was up.

Up Next

Nish was secretly planning on having Vinny arrested for the money laundering that takes place through their chicken shops. Thankfully, after a meeting with Nish’s mate Harti, Suki established Nish was seeking revenge, and wasn’t going to stop until Vinny ended up seriously hurt.

Suki and Eve (Heather Peace) took action by calling a cab and telling Vinny that he needed to get away from Walford. When he got in the taxi though, Vinny remained unaware Nish had managed to slip into the driver’s side.

In tonight’s episode of the BBC One soap, it wasn’t long until Suki and Eve were informed one of Kat’s (Jessie Wallace) cabs never picked Vinny up. Fear growing, Suki raced to find Ravi (Aaron Thiara) for help.

Meanwhile, Nish was holding Vinny hostage in the kitchen of Walford East. With an injury on his face, Vinny was utterly terrified of his father, who then took to grabbing a knife and waving it around as his anger towards Vinny’s ‘betrayal’ grew.

Moments later, Suki and Ravi burst into the kitchen and saved Vinny from Nish. By this point, Suki was convinced this ordeal would be enough to put her ex back behind bars.

Back at the Panesar household, Suki tried to speak to Nish about the marriage and everything they went through. She was very honest with her thoughts and hoped Nish would do the same – but of course he was never going to.

Calling Nish a monster, Suki left the dining table and was followed by her ex, who then suffered a sudden pain to his chest.

Nish collapsed and started to beg Suki for help. At first, she didn’t believe him, but hearing his shallow breathing, Suki came to the realisation if she left Nish to suffer for long enough, the whole ordeal would be over.

And so, that’s exactly what she did.

A brandy in her hand, Suki sat on the sofa and watched Nish in complete pain.

But how far will this go?
