A new and official Dungeons and Dragons crossover with World of Warcraft has been announced, and the expansion will bring the world of Azeroth and its many features to the TTRPG. The announcement was one of many during Gen Con 2026. During the event, the 2027 roadmap for Dungeons and Dragons was announced, featuring a Dark Sun expansion, another dip into Greyhawk, and an unexpected Star Wars crossover. The Star Wars expansion will be part of a new initiative called D&D Universes Beyond, not unlike Magic: The Gathering’s Universes Beyond.
