Dragon Ball is renowned around the world to this day for its exciting action and lovable characters, and most of what made the series a success occurred in the Dragon Ball Z era. However, as excellent as Dragon Ball Z is overall, its sometimes-contentious sequels have actually managed to surpass it, at least when they're at their best.
