Virat Kohli is currently in the news as the ace cricketer has announced his retirement from test cricket. On May 12, he took to his social media to pen a lengthy note about his love for cricket and announcing his retirement. It broke millions of hearts. A day later, Virat Kohli and wife Anushka Sharma were spotted in Vrindavan. The couple paid a visit to spiritual guru Premanand Ji Maharaj to seek his blessings. A lot of pictures and videos of the two from their meet with Premanand Ji Maharaj went viral on social media. Amid all of this, an old video of Virat Kohli also went viral.

Back in 2016, during the T20 World Cup, Virat Kohli was asked if he seeks spiritual help and engages in prayer in order to stay calm amid the high-pressure. Responding to this, Virat Kohli left everyone laughing as he said, "Do I look the pooja path types?" He also shared, "When I started, a lot about me was wrong. I was the tattoo guy, the one who wore stylish clothes. It is very easy to focus on the negative stuff, but I choose not to do that." As his pictures from Vrindavan went viral, one of the comments on social media read, "Virat Kohli once said, 'Do I look like the pooja-path type ?' but now, " Dena wala toh bas upar wala hai. He has fully surrendered to the Supreme Lord. This journey has been truly beautiful."

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli's trip to Vrindavan also grabbed a lot of attention as both of them were seen wearing a jaap mala counter. The gadget is an alternate for conventional prayer beads.

Rumours have it that Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are also planning to move to London in order to give a normal, away from glamour, upbringing to their children- Vamika and Akaay. The couple hasn't commented on it as yet.
