A good amount of mystery surrounds the Marvel Cinematic Universe's next steps after Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, particularly when it comes to their upcoming television slate. More MCU blockbuster films are in the pipeline (Black Panther 3, Ghost Rider, their interpretation of the X-Men), but Disney+ currently has no live-action series planned after Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 — which they just announced will be the show's last. What’s more, Kevin Feige teased his intentions to eventually reboot the entire experiment, which assumedly would close the door on most ongoing stories. Even though the MCU's small-screen era has produced some of its finest work across the franchise's 18 years, all public information points to Marvel shifting away from the medium.
